Natural beauty on a vast scale, heavy snowfall and a friendly reception are what define the Canadian snowboarding holiday. The mountains in the western Canada are assured huge snow accumulation whilst the Rockies offer similarly good snowfall in colder and drier conditions.
The scenery is spectacular whether in the coastal mountains of the west, or the magnificent Rockies. People are genuinely friendly and the holiday resorts are usually very good value. Heli-snowboarding is common, as is Canadas legendary powder snow. The mountains might not be as high as those south of the border but the northern latitude ensures colder air and great snow.
